If you should visit the Holy Land, the highlight of your trip will probably be a trip to the synagogue in Capernaum, which is actually a newer building built over where Jesus delivered the words that we just heard. So it's in ruins and the original one buried under the ground still is even more in ruins. However, his words have endured and even more importantly that He is the Bread of Life that offers His Body for food, Hid Blood for drink has continued...

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of becoming acquainted with the newest member of our family who will be 2 weeks old tomorrow. As I was holding him, the first born of his parents (whose wedding I had not quite 2 years ago), I could see that there was something written on his shirt, but it was kind of scrunched up...I discovered to me surprise that the message was "I call the shots around here!"...
